Intro to walks with Skyla

On holiday in Yorkshire, my husband and I were a bit stuck on where to walk. A few google searches later and I soon discovered a fantastic app called "all trails". For their desktop version please click here: https://www.alltrails.com/en-gb/
This app allowed us to discover an amazing walk.... and not only that, it tracks you whilst you are walking so you can follow the trail using GPS (a game changer for someone with no sense of direction like me). And whilst admiring the scenic views of the Yorkshire coast, an idea sprung to mind....... if I could find a walk in Yorkshire, surely I could find new walks when back home?!?!?
Sure enough, I typed in Suffolk and voila.... a list of shiny new walks was at my fingertips.
I went on to the filters ( a nifty service on the app allowing you to filter the results down to the ones you actually want) and quickly found a list of 20+ walks to choose from. My personal preference is a circular walk, easy to medium elevation and up to 6km long at the moment for Skylas age..... oh and dog friendly OBVS!!
So my plan (and don't hold me to it as my plans change more frequently than I'd care to admit) is to find a new walk monthly.
I will then come on here and give a low down of the walk.... the highs, the lows, the good, the bad (you know the drill) and anything else worth mentioning (hopefully a nice pub or two along the way!!)
But if you don't feel like waiting for me to find you a walk, why don't you go ahead and download the app yourself - I promise you wont be disappointed (PS I'm currently using the free version but who knows, after a few walks I may just upgrade; but for now the free version seems more than sufficient).
