Acorn Dog Training offers a 7-week Puppy Foundation Course designed to provide correct, safe socialising for your furry friend while setting them up with necessary obedience skills. Our experienced trainers have years of experience and knowledge, and our indoor training facility is the perfect environment for your puppy to learn and grow. Sign up today and give your puppy the best start in life! The course is held at Tunstall community centre (IP12 2JB), just behind the Green Man Pub. There are three of us teaching on the course, myself and two assistants and we take a maximum of ten puppies. The ratio of puppies to trainers means that everyone receives individual attention. We cover all the basic obedience exercises, using reward-based training and the course is structured to build each week on the exercises previously learnt. Course topics and exercises come with information sheets, which are emailed to you each week. Our aim is to give you the best start on your journey to owning a well behaved pet dog. There is always an opportunity to ask questions in the classes and support via email is always available during and after the course finishes.
